First there was the Easter. Then the Macy's Day and The Rose Bowl. In more recent years, we've had the Gay Pride and even The Million Man March. And now, following in this illustrious line of organized processionals, we have today's site, Asian Parade. It may not have a big Bullwinkle balloon or flower-covered floats, but it does have hot Asian chicks getting boned so that's good enough for me. Anyhow, pics come in galleries of around 100-150 high quality photos each and the shots weigh in at right around 600 x 800. Videos are the primary focus here and come with lots of options. They split the full clip up into multiple parts (the length and number of which varies depending on which quality option you select) and offer vids in either WMV or Quicktime format. The WMV movies are available in large (640 x 480) and small (320 x 240) sizes, while the Quicktime clips are 320 x 240 only. The broadband clips look great. They're clear and well-lit and you can pop 'em up and enjoy them at full-screen with little difficulty. The big downside here is that all of the videos stream in-browser by default which limits your re-size options to either original or full-screen and, more importantly, makes the clips difficult to save. The site offers full-length downloadable versions and hard copy DVD's at a video-on-demand site and a DVD store respectively, but of course both of these cost extra $$ on top of the $39.95/month price tag.
